Sportswear and footwear brand Adidas will close all retail stores in Russia from March 13. This was reported in a statement on the official website of the brand.
“We are suspending the site and app from March 09 (18:00 Moscow time) until further notice. Retail stores will be open until March 13 inclusive. You will be able to view the product on the site and in the application, but the possibility of placing an order is not available at the moment, ”the company’s website says.
After the special operation of Russian troops in Ukraine that began on February 24, many countries impose economic sanctions against Russia. The decision to suspend work in the Russian Federation was announced by Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, as well as Inditex. A similar statement was made by the Swedish company IKEA. Procter & Gamble and Unilever also joined the sanctions. Amazon has suspended shipments of goods to Russia.
