Red Bull has postponed its sporting events in Russia. The descent to Sheregesh was planned for this weekend

The Red Bull Jump&Freeze and Red Bull Home Run festivals scheduled for March 2022 will not take place. The official website of the Austrian company Red Bull indicates that sporting events throughout Russia, namely in Sheregesh, Kemerovo Region, Sochi, Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg, have been postponed, but no new dates have been announced.

A mass descent of skiers and snowboarders at the speed of the Red Bull Home Run was planned in Sheregesh on March 12. Its organizers clarified the NGS that the postponement of the launch happened for technical reasons. Now they individually contact the athletes who wished to take part in the competitions and report on the current situation.

The Red Bull company is familiar to Russians not only thanks to energy drinks, but also by holding sports events in various areas: motorsport, cycling, e-sports, surfing, dancing, winter sports, etc. The very first Red Bull FlugTag festival in Russia was held in the Stroginskaya floodplain Moscow River August 9, 2009.

The Red Bull Home Run is a mass race of skiers and snowboarders for the first time in Russia in 2021. Participants start at the same time, while the awarding takes place in two categories – in skiing and in snowboarding. Red Bull Jump & Freeze – combines elements of snowboarding and freestyle swimming, as participants from the springboard finish in a pool of water.
